For professionals
One school, working seamlessly across the border for every child and family.

This page will explain how to make a referral and arrange a placement, including the information we need, fees, and how to start a conversation. Sitting on the border, we routinely welcome children from communities on both sides of it, and we offer every child the same provision and the same care whatever their postcode.
Our approach to identifying need, building a bespoke programme and supporting wellbeing does not change from one child to the next. What can differ is the statutory plan a child arrives with and the authority we liaise with — and we are equally fluent in both. Describe the core provision here so families and professionals can see it is consistent for everyone.
A child may join us with an Individual Development Plan (IDP) under the Welsh ALN system, or with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) under the English SEND system. Both describe the support a child should receive; we deliver that provision in full and work closely with the home authority, in their language and to their timelines, so the transition feels seamless for the family. Add detail on how reviews and reporting work for each.
We are experienced in partnering with local authorities and professionals across the region. As a school registered in Wales and inspected by Estyn, we can also help colleagues from English authorities see exactly how our provision maps onto what they need — so placing a child here is straightforward from wherever you are.
The best way to understand our school is to visit. Get in touch and we’ll arrange a day that works for you.
